Welcome Owl Families!

I am honored to be the proud principal of Spring Park Elementary where our number one goal is to work hard and be kind. I have a passion for creating collaborative classrooms that develop the whole child preparing them for college, career, and life. I am excited to meet so many of the incredible families in our community and feel extremely fortunate for this opportunity to work with your children and the talented, dedicated staff here at Spring Park!

Please know that the SPS staff is dedicated to ensuring that every student receives instruction that meets their individual academic needs in a safe and supportive school environment. Our SPS staff takes great pride in interactions with students and families. Building positive relationships with all SPS students, families and staff is of great importance to me as well. Please feel free to email or call me; I will always be available to you during the school year.

As we partner together for this school year, we will need your help! Our commitment to you is to keep our focus on teaching and learning. You can help us by making sure students arrive to school on time, each day. Our school day begins at 8:30 and ends at 2:42. Please make all efforts to schedule any student appointments before or after school hours to ensure that your child receives a full day's instruction.

I encourage every family to join and/or volunteer with our Parent Volunteer Committee. We are building an amazing group of Parent Volunteers with many opportunities to get involved. We thank our Parent Volunteer Committee for their time and efforts that help make our staff, students and families feel welcome and supported.

As we learn together this year, please make sure to keep the lines of communication open with your child’s teacher. She/he will always be your first contact for any questions or concerns you may have. Parents and teachers working together will increase your child’s success, while also serving as a great model for scholars as to how to work effectively as a team.

With Gratitude,

Tiffany Outman, Principal

Assistant Principal, Michelle Caricato

Hello Spring Park Owl Families!

It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself, Michelle Caricato, as the Assistant Principal of Spring Park Elementary School!  My passion for education and the success of all students has been shaped over my 17 years serving as a classroom teacher, District Literacy Coach, and Assistant Principal.  In each role, I have sought to ensure the success of each student and school by providing the best educational opportunities possible.  Similarly, my number one priority at SPS is that every scholar receives a well-rounded and equitable education.

I hope that your summer has been filled with exciting family activities and you have enjoyed it at a leisurely pace.  Our summer is coming to a close and now our thoughts eagerly turn to the beginning of dynamic year.  Our daily work together includes creating a safe and supportive environment in which all learners can pursue academic and social learning experiences to fulfill their unique potentials.

I am so honored to be a part of the Clay County District and Spring Park! As we build upon existing relationships and forge new ones, let us collaboratively support the social, emotional and academic well-being of each scholar at Spring Park Elementary School.  Through this teaming effort, we will make tremendous progress for all!

With Gratitude,

Michelle Caricato
